Privacy Policy

How the Agarwal Samaj — Manglam Aananda website collects, uses and protects your information.

Updated: 8 October 2026

This website belongs to the Agarwal Samaj of Manglam Aananda, Jaipur. We respect your privacy and collect only the information we need.

What we collect

Contact and request forms. When you submit a form, we store your name, email and/or phone number, your message, and any other details the form asks for (such as a business description). To prevent abuse we also keep an irreversible hash of your internet (IP) address — never the address itself.

Published profiles. Details of representatives, committee members and businesses are published only with the consent of the person concerned. We do not collect flat or unit numbers, government identification numbers or dates of birth.

Photographs. Event photographs are published only after the consent of the people in them has been confirmed. Hidden metadata, including location (GPS) data, is removed from images when they are uploaded.

Cookies

This website uses only necessary cookies: one to remember your chosen language, and a secure cookie for administrators' sign-in sessions. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and run no analytics service.

Who sees your information

Information sent through forms is visible only to the Samaj's authorised administrators. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

Messages and requests are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record. Under the proposed policy, resolved messages are deleted after at most 24 months.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you may withdraw consent to publication at any time. When consent is withdrawn, the related name, photograph or business listing is removed from the website. Please use the contact page.

We aim to act in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

Information is stored on secured servers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Administrative access is protected by strong passwords, two-step verification and role-based permissions, and every administrative change is recorded.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised policy will be published on this page.
